Visa has announced the official release of the Visa Creator Program. This is a strategy development and product mentoring program for entrepreneurs working in the field of painting, music, fashion and film who wish to promote their business through NFT. According to Visa, the goal of the Creator Program is to help bring together global digital content creators and empower them through education in blockchain technology and NFT commerce.
Originally launched in October 2021, the first participant of the Visa Creator Program was Micah Johnson, a content creator in the Aku World NFT community. Johnson is a retired baseball player after multiple injuries to become a visual artist in 2018. The NFT Aku character is a young black astronaut who has successfully signed numerous film and television contracts and is considered the first NFT work to travel to the International Space Station digitally.
Johnson's work sold for a total of 6,178 ETH, approximately $20.9 million, according to CryptoArt. He took the first class of this huge payments company for content creators and people working for the Gig economy who have an interest in NFT. Potential applicants must register and be selected to participate in this program.

Cuy Sheffield, head of crypto at Visa, stated, "NFT has the potential to be a strong motivator for the creative economy." He added that the Visa Creator Program is a way to help "small and micro businesses access new means of digital commerce."
In addition to mentoring and creating a community, it offers many opportunities to participate in Visa's network of customers and partners, as well as reach out to leaders in the Web3 space. Participants also receive a one-time grant to help advance the next phase of the business plan of the business.
The Visa Creator Program shows the company's commitment to cryptocurrency-powered credit cards following its $150,000 acquisition of CryptoPunk in August 2021, the launch of the Universal Payment Channel project and the success of the company's cryptocurrency payment cards.
