A MakerDAO Vault has just sold 65 thousand ETH to pay down debt and reduce risk. The average selling price is $1155 per ETH.
This caused the ETH price of the WETH/USDC trading pair on Uniswap to fall to $941 USDC and has now risen back to normal. The pair had a 24-hour trading volume of $2.17 billion, up 42.11% in volume.
Data from Coinglass reveals that more than $170 million of ETH positions have been liquidated in the past 24 hours alone. Meanwhile, the total Market Capitalization of the vast market has fallen below $1 trillion.
