In it, cryptocurrency exchange FTX has announced a pause in ether (ETH) trading on secondary blockchains until the end of the event. Shortly after the announcement, however, FTX deleted the tweet, and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried reaffirmed that “ETH trading will continue throughout The Merge.”
The suspension of deposits and withdrawals for Ethereum on different blockchains has already been decided, but this is entirely subject to change.
