USD Coin (USDC) issuer Circle announced on Thursday that it will issue Euro Coin (EUROC),a euro-backed stablecoin, on June 30.
Euroc is a currency according to Ethereum's ERC-20 standard, which is expected to support more blockchains this year. It is not clear the Total Supply of stablecoins at the time of launch. Circle revealed that EUROC will be listed and open for trading on exchanges on June 30, with the support of CEX exchanges including FTX, Bitstamp, Binance.US, Huobi; DEX floors including Uniswap, Compound, Curve; depository units include Anchorage Digital, CYBAVO, Fireblocks; Ledger and MetaMask wallets.
