BitKeep, a multi-chain wallet owned by the Bitget exchange, appears to be suffering from widespread coin theft.
By the morning of 26/12, the cryptocurrency community was low on the news that the BitKeep wallet was being broken into by bad guys. The project telegram channel quickly confirmed that there were users who lost money. The team is urgently investigating for clarification, but no official announcement has been made so far.
OKLink's data monitoring platform discovered that this suspicious deposit address most likely belonged to Bitkeep hackers. The wallet still holds 2,896,386 USDT 166,010 DAI and 2,310 BNB.

About 1 hour ago, BitKeep gave a preliminary reason because hackers took control and installed malicious code into APK downloads. The project warns users who have downloaded BitKeep with APKs, please transfer funds to download wallets from official stores such as App Store or Google Play.
According to Beosin Blockchain Security, user assets on BNB Chain alone have lost more than $3 million.
